Industrial film and media producer, speaker and author


Born in 1951. After an apprenticeship as a radio and television technician, he completed further training in a film production company that produced pharmaceutical and medical research films, in 35mm real and animated film.
This was followed by a degree in photography and film, which he successfully completed in 1976.


Instead of studying medicine afterwards on his university place, he decided to study media studies, psychology and education.
After receiving his diploma, he earned a doctorate in media effects research, politics and history on the question of why Hitler and his National Socialist Party went from a splinter party to the second strongest parliamentary group within two years.


In total, he lived and worked in Arab countries for more than four years:
In Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, at the King Abdul Aziz University for the Ministry of Higher Education there, and representing Germany within the framework of Cooperation between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Arab Republic of Egypt in Ismailia.

Each time, the focus was on the conception, production, target group-oriented use and impact of media and the training and further education of local experts.

He has passed on his experience as a lecturer at various universities, including the universities of Osnabrück and Witten-Herdecke.

Since his studies, he has worked freelance in television.
Among other things, he was a member of the team for Radio Bremen that realised the first cable television project in Germany.
He stood behind the camera himself for ARD and ZDF for ten years.


For ARD TV Germany he reported on the deployment of the British KFOR troops from Bosnia.


Before becoming an independent producer in 1997, he worked as an editor in the NDR studio in Osnabrück, mainly for television reporting, national and regional news programmes, magazine programmes, but also radio as a studio presenter.


He has also trained as a voice-over artist with television broadcasters.
He has been producing industrial films and media for the international market for more than 20 years.
He has also published several books, and as author and narrator, a radio play CD.
He is one of the few who produces 3D stereophotos for industry.


In 2006, he founded MMF plc together with his wife.
